NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of DFCU Financial (“Sponsor” or “DFCU”) and Group E Marketing Services LLC (“Administrator”), which are final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal.
 
Sweepstakes Schedule:
The DFCU 75TH Anniversary Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes” or “Promotion”) begins on 06/01/25 at 12:00 AM [midnight] Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on 06/31/25 at 11:59 PM ET (“Promotion Period”).

 
Sponsor:  DFCU Financial, 400 Town Center Drive, Dearborn, MI 48126.
 
Eligibility:
 
The Promotion is open only to legal U.S. residents who live in Michigan (excluding Michigan’s Upper Peninsula†) who, as of 06/01/25, are twenty-one (21) years of age or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license, and have a personal DFCU Platinum Mastercard® Account and/or a DFCU Debit Mastercard® linked to their DFCU personal checking account.**
 
Please note: As applicable, personal checking accounts, as noted above in ‘Eligibility,’ MUST be open for the duration of the Promotion Period as well as at the time of the random drawing whereby finalist prize winners are selected.
 
†Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is comprised of the following counties in Michigan: Alger, Baraga, Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon, and Schoolcraft.
 
**For joint personal DFCU Platinum Mastercard® Accounts or joint personal checking accounts where a DFCU Debit Mastercard® Card has been issued to more than one (1) person, only the primary account holder (as per Sponsor’s records) will be considered the Entrant.
 
Promotion is offered only in Michigan (excluding Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as defined above). Promotion is void outside the aforementioned area and where prohibited. Promotion is also void in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
 
The following persons are NOT eligible to participate or win prize(s) in the Promotion:
 
  • Employees, directors, and officers of Sponsor, Mastercard® International Incorporated, Southgate Automotive, Inc. d/b/a Southgate Ford; Fords Garage LLC; Administrator; the parents, subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates of any of the foregoing entities or any entity involved in the development, production, or implementation of the Promotion, including prize suppliers (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”);
  • The immediate family of any such employee/officer/director (“immediate family” being defined as spouse, siblings, parents, children, and their spouses, regardless of where they live);
  • Members of the same household of any such employee/officer/director, whether related or not.

Agreement to the Official Rules:
 
By participating in the Promotion, each Entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize(s) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
 
 
How To Enter:
 
During the Promotion Period, for each qualifying purchase transaction made using your DFCU Platinum Mastercard® and/or your DFCU Debit Mastercard® (whether made via the Credit or Debit option), you will receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes.
 
Restrictions on Debit/Credit Entry:
 
The following transactions are not “qualifying” and therefore will not result in Entry :
  • If Card is used to obtain cash via ATM or from a retailer when making purchase transaction** (for DFCU Debit Mastercard®) or for cash advance (for DFCU Platinum Mastercard® Credit Card).
         **But, if the DFCU Debit Mastercard® purchase transaction is otherwise “qualifying,” the purchase transaction will still result in Entry.
 
          If using DFCU Platinum Mastercard® Credit Card, the following transactions are also not “qualifying” and will not result in Entry:
 
  • Use of DFCU Platinum Mastercard® to pay balances on Entrant’s other Credit Cards; or
  • The transfer of balances from Entrant’s other Credit Cards to his/her DFCU Platinum Mastercard®.
 
How To Enter Without Purchase:
 
To receive one (1) Entry into the Promotion without a purchase:
  • Print your full name, complete address, daytime telephone number, date of birth, email address, the last three (3) digits of your DFCU Platinum Mastercard® or DFCU Debit Mastercard®, and the year in which DFCU Financial issued the corresponding Card to you on a 3” x 5” card;
  •  Mail the 3” x 5” card in a business-size (#10) envelope to DFCU Financial, P.O. Box 6048, Dearborn, MI 48121.
  •  Entries must be postmarked by 07/01/25 and received by 07/09/25.
  •  If copied or mechanically reproduced, 3” x 5” card submission will not result in receipt of Entry. Each 3” x 5” card must be submitted separately in its own business-size envelope to result in receipt of Entry; if more than one (1) 3” x 5” card is submitted in the same envelope, all 3” x 5” cards contained therein are void and no Entries will be received in conjunction therewith.  
  
Random Drawing, Winner Notification:
  • The potential finalist prize winners will be selected randomly from among all eligible Entries received.
  • Odds of winning a finalist prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received. The random drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization, on or about 07/11/25.
  • Potential finalist prize winners will be contacted by the Administrator by phone. Administrator will only communicate with potential finalist prize winner live via phone and messages will not be left. Administrator will use commercially reasonable efforts to contact potential finalist prize winners, and make only attempt to contact a potential finalist prize winner one (time).  Administrator and Sponsor expressly disclaim any and all liability in conjunction with such efforts to contact potential finalist prize winners.
  • If Administrator preliminarily determines that potential finalist prize winner is eligible, he/she will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release Form (“Affidavit/Release”) within two (2) days of notification. If Administrator determines that the Affidavit/Release is acceptable, the finalist prize winner will be verified.
  • To accept finalist prize and have the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize Event and possibly win the Grand Prize (as discussed below), potential finalist prize winner must be able to attend the Grand Prize Event on Thursday, 07/31/25 at 5:00 p.m. in Dearborn, Michigan; if finalist prize winner is not available at such date/time for any reason, the finalist prize and the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize Event and possibly win the Grand Prize will be forfeited without liability of any kind under any legal theory to Sponsor or Administrator.
  • If a potential finalist prize winner fails to timely execute and return the Affidavit/Release, if a potential finalist prize winner is ineligible to receive a finalist prize or the potential finalist prize winner cannot be contacted after commercially reasonable effort as determined by Administrator (as discussed above), the finalist prize and the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize Event and possibly win the Grand Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate finalist prize winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible Entries received for the random drawing (time permitting).
 
 
Prize/Approximate Retail Value (ARV):
 
Five (5) Finalist Prizes are available to be won.
 
Buffet dinner (“Dinner”) at Fords Garage on 07/31/25 from 5:00pm ET – 8:00pm ET, where verified finalists will also participate in the Grand Prize Event. ARV: $_______ each.
 
Finalist Prize is attendance at Dinner is for verified finalist and one (1) guest. Should verified finalist choose not to have a guest accompany them to Dinner for any reason, Finalist Prize of Dinner will be awarded in increments for the finalist prize themselves and no alternate prize or compensation will be awarded.
 
Guest of verified finalist (if a minor, their parent or legal guardian; i.e., the verified finalist) must complete, sign and return a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where lawful) prior to 07/31/25.
 
Verified finalist and guest agree not to photograph, videorecord, stream or broadcast the Grand Prize Event or Dinner without prior written permission of Sponsor and Fords Garage LLC which may be granted or withheld by either party in its sole discretion and without liability of any kind.
 
Verified finalist and guest must conduct themselves at all times in an appropriate, well-behaved and respectable manner during Dinner. Without limitation, verified finalist and guest must comply with governmental mandates regarding public health and safety while present at the Dinner (including but not limited to those designed to prevent the transmission of disease and fire codes). For verified finalist, the preceding also includes their participation in the Grand Prize Event as discussed below. Failure to do so will result in ejection from Dinner and, in the case of verified finalist, forfeiture of opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize Event and the withholding or return of any prize won in the Grand Prize Event (as applicable).  
 
Should verified finalist and/or guest have any dietary restrictions (for example, food allergies), it is their sole responsibility to advise Fords Garage LLC of same prior to 07/31/25. Fords Garage LLC in its sole discretion may (or may not) be able to accommodate such dietary restrictions. In any event, Sponsor will not have any liability under any legal theory with regard to Fords Garage LLC’s ability (or inability) to accommodate such dietary restrictions.
 
Any and all expenses in conjunction with attending Dinner is the sole responsibility of verified finalist.  Alcohol is not included as part of Dinner.
 
Grand Prize Event:
 
Grand Prize Event will take place at a time determined by Sponsor during Dinner.  Verified finalists must be present at Dinner at such time or they will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize Event and win either the Grand Prize or a Runner Up Prize as discussed below.
 
When called by Administrator to do so, each verified finalist will select one (1) of the five (5) gift boxes from the bowl. Each gift box contains one (1) key.  Administrator will determine at random the order in which verified finalists select a key from the bowl.
 
After selection of gift boxes, when called by Administrator to do so, each verified finalist will use the key they selected to attempt to start the engine of the 2025 Ford Bronco® Outer Banks® Sport Utility Vehicle (“Vehicle”). Administrator will determine at random the order in which verified finalists attempt to start the engine of the Vehicle. Each verified finalist must gently insert the key in the ignition and seek to start the engine of the Vehicle without use of any other device of any kind.  FORCING THE KEY INTO THE IGNITION OR REPEATEDLY ATTEMPTING TO START THE ENGINE AFTER THE FIRST ATTEMPT TO DO SO IS UNSUCCESSFUL WILL RESULT IN EJECTION FROM GRAND PRIZE EVENT (AND DINNER) AND THE WITHHOLDING OF RUNNER UP PRIZE WON IN THE GRAND PRIZE EVENT.
     
If their selected key successfully starts the engine of the Vehicle, that verified finalist wins the Grand Prize and the Grand Prize Event automatically ends at that time. Any remaining verified finalists will not have the opportunity to attempt to start the engine of the Vehicle.  
 
If their selected key does NOT successfully start the engine of the Vehicle, the verified finalist has not won the Vehicle and the next verified finalist will have the opportunity to attempt to start the engine of the Vehicle as set forth above. Each such unsuccessful verified finalist will win a Runner Up Prize provided that they have participated in the Grand Prize Event in accordance with these Official Rules. 
 
If due to error, failure or malfunction of any kind, none of the keys starts the engine of the Vehicle, the Grand Prize winner will instead be determined via random drawing with each verified finalist receiving one (1) entry in such random drawing.
 
Odds of a verified finalist winning the Grand Prize are 1:5.
 
Verified finalist must comply with the following code of conduct relative to their participation in the Grand Prize Event.
 
  1. Select key and attempt to start the engine of Vehicle only if/when instructed to do so by Administrator;
  2. Follow all instructions of Sponsor, Administrator and/or Fords Garage LLC at all times;
  3. Must not tamper with selected key in any way or interfere with the participation of other verified finalists;
  4. Must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs (except for prescription medications with acceptable proof of same);
  5. Must not smoke tobacco or e-cigarettes;
  6. Must not carry a firearm or weapon of any kind;
  7. Must not engage in illegal conduct of any kind;
  8. Must act in an appropriate and well-behaved manner toward Sponsor, Administrator and/or Fords Garage LLC, other verified finalists or their guests at all times; and
  9. Must not attempting to bribe, influence, cheat and/or defraud Sponsor, Administrator and/or Fords Garage LLC in any way;
 
Failure to comply with the code of conduct, as determined by Administrator in its sole discretion, will result in ejection from Grand Prize Event (and Dinner) and the withholding or return of any prize won in the Grand Prize Event. Administrator may eject verified finalist from Grand Prize Event without warning of any kind.

Grand Prize

One (1) Grand Prize is available to be won.
 
Grand Prize is a 2 year lease of a 2025 Ford Bronco, in Oxford White. ARV: $24,000.
  
Winner is subject to approval by Ford Red Carpet Credit Lease; if winner does not qualify, he/she will receive an alternate prize of _____________. All terms and conditions of Ford Red Carpet Credit Lease apply excluding only monthly payment requirement.  At end of 2 year period, winner will have option to purchase Vehicle at a price to be negotiated between winner and Southgate Automotive, Inc. d/b/a Southgate Ford.  Should winner choose to return Vehicle at end of 2 year period, winner will be solely responsible for excessive wear-and-tear and mileage in excess of 15,000 mile threshold at rate of 20 cents per mile (Vehicle not intended for commercial use).
 
Winner is solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of Grand Prize; the preceding includes but is not limited to Vehicle registration, license and other fees, costs of Vehicle insurance, and any desired upgrades/options. A valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of insurance are required to take possession of Vehicle. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to make arrangements with Southgate Automotive, Inc. d/b/a Southgate Ford to take possession of Vehicle at a later time at winner’s sole expense, with Southgate Automotive, Inc. d/b/a Southgate Ford determining the date/time of delivery of Vehicle. Southgate Automotive, Inc. d/b/a Southgate Ford will only deliver the Vehicle to an address in Michigan (excluding Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as defined above). Winner must take delivery of Vehicle no later than August 31, 2025. If winner cannot take delivery of Vehicle by such deadline, Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety, and no alternate prize or compensation will be awarded.

Runner Up Prize
 
Four (4) Runner Up Prizes are available to be won.
 Runner Up Prize is a $250 Mastercard® gift card and a DFCU Prize Pack. ARV: $_____ each.
 
 
Mastercard® Gift Card is subject to terms and conditions as indicated thereon or provided therewith. Gift card may be awarded in virtual (“e”) or physical format, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Gift card is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash, except as may be required by applicable law.
 
For All Prizes:
 
Prizes cannot be substituted or transferred by winners. Winners will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes (not limited to federal, state, local and/or income) on prizes; that is, Finalist Prize and Grand Prize or Runner Up Prize (depending on results of Grand Prize Event.) For Grand Prize, winner will be issued an IRS 1099 Tax Form reflecting combined value of Grand Prize and Finalist Prize; and, Grand Prize winner agrees to fully cooperate with Sponsor and its designated representatives in conjunction with Sponsor’s compliance with such reporting requirement including by providing upon request their Social Security Number or Tax identification Number via IRS W9 Tax Form.
 
Participation in the Promotion constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use, as applicable, Entrant’s name, hometown, likeness, statements, other personally identifiable information for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes in any media throughout the world without prize, incentive, consideration, consent or review; and upon request, Entrant will provide written consent to such use. For clarity, the preceding includes but is not limited to Sponsor’s recordation of the Grand Prize Event and Dinner for commercial as well as internal/archival purposes.

Prize award is made contingent upon credit approval of winner by Ford Motor Credit Company‡ in its capacity as Finance Company in the Vehicle Lease Agreement. (Pursuant to the Lease Agreement, LaFontaine Ford of Frankenmuth Inc. is the Lessor of the Vehicle and Sponsor is the Lessee of the Vehicle.) If winner does not receive credit approval for any reason, Grand Prize will be forfeited, with Sponsor and the other Promotion Entities not having any liability to winner under any legal theory. 
 
‡Ford Motor Credit Company has NOT sponsored, endorsed or authorized this DFCU, its services or this Sweepstakes in any way. Ford Motor Credit Company is identified herein solely for reference purposes.
   
Winner is also solely responsible for:
 
  • Vehicle registration;
  • license, tax and insurance fees incurred in accepting/using the Vehicle;
  • costs associated with upgrades or options not included with the Vehicle; and
  • all other unspecified expenses in conjunction acceptance and use of the Vehicle (e.g., costs of travel to/from Southgate Ford, Southgate, MI to pick up the Vehicle; costs of maintenance and periodic inspection of Charging Station).
   Prize cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. 
 
General Conditions/Release:
  • By participating, Entrants (a) release Promotion Entities, and their respective directors, officers, agents and employees (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of prizes; and (b) acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize. 
  • Neither Released Parties nor any service providers are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by Entrants while participating in the Promotion, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information (for Debit/Credit Entry or Mail Entry), incorrect/inaccurate recording of purchase transactions made using DFCU Platinum Mastercard®  Credit Card and/or DFCU Mastercard®  Debit Card, as applicable (or failure to record such purchase transactions altogether), or for any human or other error, lost data, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, damaged, misdirected Debit/Credit Entries or Mail Entries or postage due mail.
  • Neither Released Parties nor any service providers are responsible for any error or malfunction of any kind which prevents the Grand Prize Event from being conducted as intended by Sponsor.
  • CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COOPERATE IN THE PROSECUTION OF ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL(S) AND TO PURSUE ALL REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TAMPERING EXPRESSLY INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ENGAGING IN “SHAM” TRANSACTIONS (NOT REAL, BONA FIDE TRANSACTIONS IN THE NORMAL COURSE OF BUSINESS) SO AS TO ILLICITLY ATTEMPT TO RECEIVE SWEEPSTAKES ENTRIES. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
  • Mail Entries that are incomplete illegible or corrupted are void. Sponsor and Administrator are not liable or responsible for late, invalid, or misdirected Debit/Credit Entries or Mail Entries, all of which will be disqualified. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  • If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of being executed as planned, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of Entrants, technical failures or any other causes which in the opinion of Administrator and/or Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any suspect Debit/Credit Entry or Mail Entry and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. In the event of any cancellation, termination or suspension, notice thereof will be posted on the DFCU Financial Website (http://www.dfcufinanical.com) and the selection of the finalist prize winners will be made in a manner determined by Sponsor/Administrator, in their sole discretion, to be fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Debit/Credit Entries or Mail Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification.
 
Governing Law; Dispute Resolution:
  • These Official Rules and the Promotion shall be governed by the law of Michigan (except for the conflict of law/choice of law rules of Michigan or of any other jurisdiction which would lead to the application of the law of any jurisdiction other than Michigan.)
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Entrants agree that: (i) any claim, dispute or cause of action regarding the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be brought individually (NOT AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION) in the federal or state courts of Michigan; (ii) they consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts as the exclusive tribunal for adjudication of any such claim/dispute/cause of action; (iii) their recovery will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs involved in participating in the Sweepstakes (if any) and they expressly waive their right to all other forms of recovery, including by way of example only, punitive, consequential, indirect, incidental, special and exemplary damages as well as attorneys’ fees for bringing such claim/dispute/cause of action. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
