What's Inside the New CashBack+ Experience

CashBack+ Pay is a new payment app that lets you shop and earn cash back in real time, no credit card needed. 

Here's how it works:

At checkout, use the app to purchase a digital gift card for the exact amount of their total, using your DFCU account. The digital gift card is generated immediately to use and complete the purchase, and earn cash back instantly.

  • No. CashBack+ is free to use, and there are no earning caps. 
  • Funds in your CashBack+ balance do not expire
  • Offers are cash back opportunities from hundreds of national and local brands. You can shop by purchasing digital gift cards, and cash back is added immediately to your cash back balance.
  • Actions are personalized tasks like enrolling in eDocuments, referring a friend, or making a direct deposit that earn you bonus cash back when completed.
  • Offers: cash back is added immediately upon digital gift card delivery.
  • Actions: cash back is awarded on the first of the following month following task completion.
  • Purchased digital gift cards are stored in the CashBack+ offers wallet and emailed to the address on file.
  • Yes. At checkout, you can select from eligible DFCU accounts.
  • Yes. Digital gift cards can be shared with family or friends by forwarding the digital card via email or printing it out.
  • Gift cards remain valid for at least five years.
  • Refunds are not generally available unless fraud is confirmed and funds can be recovered.
  • CashBack+ Pay is a new way to pay and earn cash back in real time, via an app or Chrome browser extenstion, using your DFCU account instead of a debit or credit card. Search your mobile app store for "CashBack+ Pay". 
  • In-store: Use the app to enter your total, generate a barcode, and scan at checkout.
  • Online: Shop on the brand's site through the app, click the cash back offer at checkout, which will allow you to buy a digital card using your DFCU account, and then automatically apply the code to your card to complete your purchase.
  • Yes. Security is ensured through industry-standard encryption and privacy protocols. All transactions are secure, and no personal banking details are shared with the brands.
DFCU offers CashBack+ to members with active accounts in good standing through programs powered by Prizeout. CashBack+ Pay allows users to download an app from the App Store and PC users to get a Chrome browser extension from the Chrome Web Store (currently unavailable for other browsers). This program enables members to purchase select digital gift cards for the exact amount required and earn cashback at varying percentages, which is credited immediately to their CashBack+ wallet post-purchase. DFCU retains the right to modify or terminate either CashBack+ program at any time without prior notification. Finally, digital gift card offers are not products of DFCU, and their terms of use are subject to the respective merchants; more information can be found atprizeout.com/terms.
